This work was a private commission completed in 2021.

Sculpted at slightly less than life size, ‘The Captain’ is pin mounted on an American White Oak plinth so he can be turned to face different parts of the house’s extraordinary views out to the ocean.

The sculpt was cast in silicone bronze with a Florentine Brown traditional patina by Perides Art Foundry in Brisbane.
